08/30/2004: "Interactive Story"

I was thinking, it would be nice to have a interactive story. Maybe a fan-fic based on a RPG. One entry a day, we all take turns writing an entry with a one paragraph minimum. The story will go on as long as we choose to keep it going. We could use the blog, or I could write a script that will organize the story and make it easy to submit your entry.

What do you guys think?

Here's the basic layout of the scripts. If you don't like the cosmetics, we can work it out. If you want your text to look pretty you are free to use HTML. You'll need to use HTML if you want your entries to have paragraphs. It's pretty easy to use, but if you need help, just ask. --- Now all we need is a story to start.

To add an entry, or new story use the same password as the whiteboard.

You know what? Since anyone can start a story, let's just do that. If you have a story idea, start it. It can support as many stories as we eant to make, and It will support more then one entry per day, so just go for it.

Anime, or RPG. I was thinking a fan-fic of .Hack (sometime after PS2) storyline.

We should also come up with a system so only one person a day gets to add their part of the story

Well, if you could make that script for organizing and submitting, that would be cool, 'cause the story will probably clog the blog otherwise... But it's a spiffy idea! What game(s) should we use?
