About SquareSoft Universe
As you are aware, there are hundreds of SquareSoft related sites across the Internet. Some sites tend to focus on one particular aspect of Square's RPGs, or a game in particular. Others try to cover everything in limited detail. The goal of SquareSoft Universe is to unify all of these individual sites into one coherent body. WebRings were the first attempt to try to accomplish this task, linking related sites together. As rings grow too large, however, it becomes an impossible task to fully navigate the ring due to its linear structure. The Universe concept as created by MG1 Technologies, is a new alternative method to unify related sites. In the Universe concept, one site acts as a hub, providing general information on the topic at hand and a directory of all related sites. Other sites specialize on particular areas of the topic. In the case of SquareSoft Universe, this site acts as the core, providing SquareSoft news, general game information in the form of FAQs, chat rooms, and the Square Trivia Challenge, and services such as the Trading Post. Other sites that join SquareSoft Universe are listed in the Universe Site Directory by the topic that they deal with, whether it is a particular game, character information, fanfics, bulletin board type adventures, etc. This allows people who are looking for information on a particular topic to find and access it easily.

My dedication to SquareSoft Universe makes it obvious that I am a big SquareSoft fan, and a big video game fan in general. As it is, I own almost every SquareSoft game ever released in the United States, and countless other games... over 100 total for the NES, Game Boy, SNES, N64, and Playstation. My favorite genre of games is Role Playing / Adventure, but I like almost all others too. Beyond video games, I am also a computer and Internet addict, spending over 40 hours a week on-line, part of which in the chat room here. I am also a big science fiction fan, enjoying the works of Ray Bradbury, and TV shows such as The X-Files and The Outer Limits to name a few. See you in the chat room...
