Nadia :: I remember being really embarrassed to have pictures taken of me, especially the cookie one... ^^;;; I think Janus had to wind up surprising me to get some pictures (though one was just too horrible to keep... ^^;;;) Pepe spent quite a bit of time snuggled up against Soul and became the spokesdog for Cheez-Its! Wow, Pepe, we never knew! Mimi, on the other hand, just hid in Red's mom's room for the most part... ^^;;; I think Red's favorite part of had to be Mazinkaiser, though I'm pretty sure I was rolling my eyes during it, LOL... All the game playing was a blast! I loved all of Janus's little "Weeeee!"s whenever he fell... Very cute and funny! Poor Soul, he got himself lost on the way over, and then I got him lost in our neighborhood with bad directions... ^^;;;; I'm sowwy, Soul! ^^;;;; I don't know which anime was more frightening: having to listen to "san-o-SU-ke" in Samurai X, some of the rather bouncy and/or nasty girls in Goldenboy, or... Quess from Char's Counterattack... ~shudders~ I'm still surprised that Red and I woke up on Sunday before Janus and Soul... But anyways, it was a really fun first big con, despite everyone being kinda shy and quiet and not really knowing what we wanted to do... I just wish we had more pictures... ^^;;; And that it lasted longer, of course!

Janus :: Yeah, there was definitely some shyness. It's just kind of weird meeting people you've known for years but never met; it does take some adjusting to. And for myself, I'm also just uncomfortable being at somebody else's house -- I rarely ever hang out at anybody's house, so. Pepe was pretty cute, I definitely became attached to him by the end of this con. Mimi was a WUSS and I only saw her for maybe two minutes during the whole con. Red and Nadia waking up before me has to be the most FEAKY thing about the con, though I had woken up a few times earlier in the morning and just gone back to sleep. Had a lot of fun, even if I wasn't totally comfortable with the idea yet.

Nadia :: Ooooooooooh, mean, we were so disorganized! We were still cleaning and not dressed when Janus arrived, and so the poor guy was stuck outside while we zoomed around, and then he was stuck in a room with Fifth Wheel on while we continued getting everything ready... ^^;;;; Janus, I'm sooooooo sorry!!! ^^;;;;; I hope you weren't traumatized... ^^;;; And on top of that, poor Red got sick Saturday and was pretty much immobile on Sunday, and I was starting to feel sick on Sunday myself... ^^;;;; Luckily, our guests did NOT get sick, too (WHEW!!!)... But despite the disorganization, we had a lot more planned to do this time around. I wanted to cook a bunch of stuff, but due to laziness and other circumstances, I just made some kiss cookies, which were pretty popular, especially with myself... ;) Love those cookies! Mimi actually let herself be seen this con, and Soul, Janus, and I were all playing with her on Saturday night. Janus even got a couple of widdle nosies from her! I just about died, that was so, so coot... ^-^ Pepe got a sweater on Sunday and looked so uncomfortable in it, especially when he was walking, but he was so coot, too! But he got used to it and wore it quite often during the winter... Finally got to see the first two Lord of the Rings movies... Wasn't paying as much attention during the second one, though... ^^;;;; And Last Unicorn was nice, but sad... I was expecting something different, though... Maybe I was thinking of some other movie... O_o; Soul sadly had to leave early on Sunday, but he got to have some of Red's mom's much-talked-about meat pie! Clue is awesome, and I'm glad we all got to play it a couple of times... Poor Red slept a lot on Sunday, so Janus and I wound up playing some games ourselves... I was afraid that the illness and lack of organization ruined the con, but everyone seemed to have fun anyways, so it's all good... ~ok~

Janus :: Fifth Wheel whyyyyyyyyy. I should've just stood outside for another twenty minutes. Red and Nadia getting sick put a bit of a damper on things, but it was still a lot of fun. The cookies were definitely good. Mimi wasn't a total WUSS this time, but she wasn't exactly friendly either. People weren't paying attention during my mooooooovies. Nadia completely 0wned me in Bust A Move and made Bubble CRY. A LOT. Poor Bubble. And it sucked Soul had to leave so early. Mm, one last comment: pro-to cul-tuuuuuure.
