Nadia :: This was such a fun trip! Lots of transferring from transportation to transportation, but it was totally worth it! We watched a ton of movies and TV shows... Of course, we're forgetting that one... movie that we saw, though I really enjoyed Lost in Translation and Labyrinth. Super Mario Bros, Captain N, and Zelda were great fun to watch as a group, especially the Bob Forward episodes... Funny how things that you never questioned when you were little actually make no sense... ^^;;; The picnic and park visit was so much fun--I felt like a little kid on the swings and slide! The sunrise was pretty, too, though I wish I didn't get so tired from all that walking... ^^;;; I also wish that I was more huggy during the con, but it was still a total blast! Note to self: Never sit in the last car of the Metrorail... ^^;;;

Janus :: I can't honestly remember many specific comments from this con, writing this up now a year later. It's amazing I put it off this long, but I am an expert cunctator, after all. (Rowr.) I definitely remember ripping Mario and Zelda up and down for all their inconsistencies and absurdities and we all were laughing ourselves silly about it. And I remember the terrible but by the same token loveable 80s music on Captain N. Nadia and Red got to see the end of Slayers. I got to show off Scarlett Johannson TAY. I'll say that chasing after Snowflake was definitely NOT an amusing occurance to me, and she got out because of a certain soooooomeboooody not shutting the door all the way. Three SSUers side by side on different computers in SSU at my school library was pretty neat, though.

Nadia :: Hurricane Charley caused this con to start about half a day later than it was originally supposed to, but it wound up still being pretty fun! We actually did quite a lot of traveling this time, including eating out, going to a nifty mall and riding the Metrorail and movers, and Yasumi Con itself, off course. Yasumi Con was probably my least favorite event of the con, though Piano Squall was great. There was much napping this con, too, LOL... I know I did at least a couple of times... ^^;; And Ja-kun was a sweetie to put our GC games in the correct boxes! ^-^ Janus and Ricky got along great, and the three of us would play together in the morning while Red was still sleeping... =^-^= I was worried that the last couple of days of the con were boring and that everyone was unhappy, but I guess I was worried unnecessarily... ^^;;; I guess what I think of as upsetting isn't so to Red and Janus... ^^;; Oh, well...

Janus :: I swear to you, they did not have one single Gamecube game in its proper box. Not one. NOT OOOOOONEEEEEE. Whenever we'd go to play something they'd open like four or five boxes looking for it and I felt like we were playing roulette. Finally I was just like "MOVE." and I sat down on the floor in front of the Gamecube and sorted it all out. I guarantee you it was back how they had it two days after I left. The best thing about Yasumicon, I agree, was Piano Squall. On the whole it was kind of disappointing. We didn't get to enter the Smash Brothers tournament which we'd been practicing for, we didn't watch any anime, we waited the better part of an hour to get into the dealer room, and I missed the X-Japan performance because of Red and Nadia playing Yu-Gi-Oh with their friend Eddy. X-Japan, I tell you. X-Japan. Art of Life. 3:00 PM. CP 145. Where were we? GC 243. Why. Whyyyyy. Damn youuuuu, Yuuuuuugiiiiiii.
