What is SSU? To some people it is a website from long ago known as Squaresoft Universe, created over eight years ago by MG1. It first began as Terra's World of Square and later changed to SSU. The website remained mostly unchanged after the switch in titles and layouts but one thing remained the same: the chat room. Through many years the chat was refered to SSU, even after MG1 repeatedly disappeared for reasons unbeknownst to many of the chatters in SSU. To this day most people believe, as do I, that the chat room was the one, if not the only thing, that kept SSU alive at all!

SSU is now known pretty much as the chat room, nothing more and nothing less. The chat has been going on strong for almost as long as you can possibly imagine, definitely well over seven years. There's not much else to know besides the fact that everyone in there is good friends with one another even though hundreds of fights break out every week! Maybe that's an understatement at times...!
