~ ~ Personal Links ~ ~

The links included here are pointed towards sites that SSUers frequent for games, music, etc. Enjoy!

~ Emulation/ROMs ~

::Zophar's Domain:: This site has hardware emulators for every computer system and console you can imagine. Everything from Super Nintendo to Calulators! In addition, there are music ripped from roms, save states, rom hacking guides, and anything else emulator-related. However, there are no roms (due to legal reasons.) A great site for your emulator needs!

~ Music ~

::Trax in Space:: Looking for some good free music? Look no furthur than Trax In Space. It has music from nearly ever genre you can imagine (except rap, but that's not music so who cares? ;)) It's mostly techno and ambient, but there's still a lot of other types to browse through! [Down For the Moment!]

::Modplug:: This site is the home of the modplug player, a great program for playing module files. It also has a huge database of music (mostly techno and ambient again). Not as good as Trax In Space, but there's some good music here!

::Overclocked Remix:: If you ever wished some of your favorite game themes had more remixes, you might want to check this page out. Even if you haven't, it's very interesting to see how incredible unofficial remixes can be.

~ Gaming ~

::T4C:: An online rpg that caused a lot of controversy in the chatroom for God knows what reason. I do not recommend this if you don't like spending God knows how many hours leveling up.

::Game FAQs:: A great site for any walkthrough, Move List, or FAQ for nearly every game imaginable. Stuck in an RPG? Come here.

::Chaotic Age:: Text-based MMORPG that was popular in chat for a bit.

~ Anime ~

::Mem-chan's Anime Post:: Excellent tapes, amazing turnaround time, great prices and a very large selection! It's always a pleasure requesting with her!

::Fansubs.net:: For all of the latest information about fansubs and new anime that you could possibly need! The information here is invaluable!

::Noated.com:: In case you feel like running searches for various fansubs online, check here! Even if you cannot get any files you can at least find out which series are out there.

::Animelyrics.com:: In case you can't quite puzzle out some lyrics or are trying to learn them and want a reference!

::Bestanime.com:: Media from hundreds of titles, mostly screen captures and art.

~ Online Comics ~

::Narbonic:: What does a super-intelligent talking gerbil, a mad female scientist, a geeky computer guy and a hot young female intern have common? You'll have to visit the Evil labs of Narbonic to find out!!!

::Megatokyo:: Join Piro and Largo in their escapades in Japan with video games, anime, PS2 accessories, cos-players, voice actresses, students, zombies, Rent-a-Zilla, and other everyday stuff!

::Exploitation Now:: Juvenile, pandering to the lowest common denominator, filled with plenty of sexual commentary, sexual frustration...and yet it still has...an ongoing storyline!! That's one hell of a miracle! [In stasis.]

::Real Life:: What do you get when you cross several people who love video games and such with a web comic? Pretty much this, actually! Witness the power of Adobe Illustrator!

::Sinfest:: God and the Devil...hell, this alone would make an excellent comic but throw in a drawing style similar to Calvin and Hobbes, more...interesting...characters, and plenty of sacreligious strips...well...take a look!

::8-Bit Theater:: Because a comic using sprites from the early Final Fantasies with plenty of wit and cliché-bashing. It doesn't get any better than this!

::Gaming Reality:: Red's very own webcomic! Focusing and making jokes about the gaming world, often with a Nintendo-based perspective. Updated weekly.

~ HTML ~

::HTML Goodies:: For the simplest, easiest way to learn basic HTML in order to drive others insane in SSU and on the web, look no further than here! Enjoy the primers and tutorials and then you're ready for...

::Web Monkey:: Do you know HTML? Would you like to learn here? Finish HTML Goodies and want to learn more? You can learn a lot of different programing languages and techniques here to truly show off your skills!

~ Art ~

::The Astral Plane:: Amy's personal art site. Check it ooooooout.

::Nadia's Little Webspot:: Nadia's personal art site. Ph34r the c00tit00d.

::Ambient Skies:: Janus' photography page, concerning mostly images of the sky and beaches.

::Side 7:: An artist community not entirely unlike Elfwood where artists post art and receive comments on it. Except, sort of focused on furries and not fantasy. Several SSUers have galleries here, including Amy, Nadia, Red, Janus, and Jester.

~ Miscellaneous ~

::Astronomy of the Day:: A page run by NASA which posts different images of various astronomical phenomena and locations every single day!

::Heavens Above:: A good, real-time resource for stargazers or people interested in satellite orbits.

::Promethea:: A site which explains, in extensive detail, a very unique and individualistic philosophy called Prometheanism.
